IEEE P1765 — OTA EVM Measurement and Uncertainty

The IEEE P1765 Working Group has been involved in developing a recommended practice for estimating the uncertainty in error vector magnitude (EVM) of digitally modulated signals measured over-the-air (OTA) for wireless communication. We recognize that OTA EVM measurements present unique challenges, which is why we are utilizing the expertise of researchers and engineers from academia, industry and national labs, while building upon the published IEEE 1765-2022 that focused on conducted measurements and uncertainty estimation. In this talk, I will provide a snapshot of the Working Group’s activities and our future plans.
