Design, modelling and control of spin silicon qubits: from confinement to characterization

The talk will outline the different platforms to build controllable quantum dots and their characteristic. The confinement, single and multi electron state and exchange interaction will be explained. The talk will cover the characterization of this devices and spin sensing techniques, and illustrate these for spin qubits in silicon. In addition to that, qubit control (quantum gates) and benchmarking will be presented.
