Harnessing AI for Unlocking Novel RF Designs with Enhanced Performances

Stringent design parameters are often difficult to achieve using conventional design methods. It is common that complex designs suffer from premature convergence due to the nature of non-convexity during the design optimization process which results in slower time-to-market. The advent of Artificial Intelligence has the potential to revolutionize the nature of RF design optimization away from the limitation of conventional optimization methodologies. In this presentation, some use cases are presented to demonstrate the advantages in speed, accuracy and scale of the AI optimization approach as well as its ability to achieve non-conventional designs where the full potential of EDA tools can be unlocked.
