Cryo-CMOS Integrated Circuits Across a Silicon Qubit Quantum Computing Stack

Silicon spin qubits are a potential technology for the scalable implementation of quantum computers due to their smaller footprint and compatibility with industrial silicon manufacturing. With increasing qubit counts, a large silicon qubit array requires the precise control of multiple device terminals that would be impractical from a cabling standpoint if performed using only room temperature equipment. In this talk, we discuss cryo-CMOS integrated circuits as solutions for qubit control, at all stages of the experimental quantum computing stack, from 4K to within the qubit chip itself at mK, to alleviate the cabling bottlenecks that arise with scalability.
