Monolithic 3D Integrated RF Components Enabled by Additive Manufacturing Technologies
Additive manufacturing technologies also known as 3D printing have been revolutionizing the way that we design, implement, and integrate RF components. A plethora of manufacturing processes have been developed to date. This workshop will provide an overview of alternative additive manufacturing methods for 3D integrated RF components and will delve into new manufacturing methods and monolithic integration schemes for 3D RF filters using SLA 3D printing. Specifically, we will present new classes of coaxial-resonator-based filters and diplexers with highly-selective transfer functions, multi-band capabilities, and improved spurious-free performance.
