Photonics-based THz generation for THz communication testing and system-level demonstrations
The talk will cover the use of photonics-based THz generation to enable THz communication/testing of active and passive devices (eg. Reflective Surfaces, waveguides, beamformers), in the range 140-800 GHz. Wideband power measurement of Unitravelling carrier photodiodes, recent D-band antenna characterizations and system-level validation will be presented as well as high-data rate communications in the H-band (240-320 GHz) and WR1.5 band (500-750 GHz).
