Practical Considerations for Applying AI to RF and Microwave EDA Workflows

This talk will cover some of the promises and challenges involved with applying Generative AI and LLM’s to RF and Microwave Design. For many years, expert engineers have navigated complex EDA-tool flows and user interfaces to bring about hardware innovations like smartphones, satellite systems, and self-driving vehicles. Now, AI tools have the potential to take on some, or maybe all of this engineering work. What does that look like from a practical standpoint? This talk will outline some straightforward steps in both EDA and AI tools which can help facilitate a productive, secure collaboration between engineers and AIs in the near future.
