High-Efficiency Power Amplifier Design with Digital Envelope Tracking for FR3 Systems

This talk will review the specifications and key design considerations for 7/13GHz power amplifiers targeting FR3 extreme MIMO systems, particularly for base station applications. Based on this, a 7GHz-band GaN-on-Si PA and a 13GHz GaAs PA/FEM will be discussed, followed by an introduction to efficiency improvement of PAs when applying Digital Envelope Tracking at 7GHz or in the FR1 band.
