Chips and Applications Above 100GHz: Not Everything Makes Sense

In this talk we will discuss various applications that can be realized in mm-wave frequencies and we will see for which applications frequencies above 100GHz might make sense, or not. We will discuss amongst others transceivers for dielectric waveguides, radars and communication systems. Limitations of transistor and solutions will be discussed.
