System Level Considerations and Feasibility of >100GHz for Backhaul Communications

In this talk we will discuss the challenges and opportunities of moving the backhaul communications to higher frequencies. Currently most of the activity occurs around 5–6GHz. Some backhaul systems are avaiable around 60GHz. Yet, operating >100GHz is stil challenging. We will discuss link budget and look at circuit level realizations.
