Development of a 300GHz Band Tomographic Imaging System Using CMOS-RFIC

In recent years, the need for baggage screening has increased not only during boarding on aircraft but also at event venues where tens of thousands of people gather. In such places, there is a demand for systems that can screen baggage without halting the flow of people entering. One of the technologies that could address this challenge is a tomographic imaging system using the sub-THz band. This talk presents the verification results of a tomographic imaging system operating in the 300GHz band, as well as the development of the CMOS-RFIC front-end required to implement this system.
