Reconfigurable Everything for 6G Software Defined Radios at 6–18GHz — Beamformer ICs and Up/Down-Converters
This talk will present our work in reconfigurable beamformers and transceiver at 6–18GHz in GlobalFoundries 22FDSOI. Rather than a wideband response, we will show that reconfigurable circuits offer a reconfigurable tuned response at 6–18GHz with high resiliency to interferers and with a wideband instantaneous bandwidth of 3–4GHz, and without compromising power, NF and linearity. Both beamformer chips and transceiver chips will be presented, with the configuration occurring in the amplifiers, phase shifters, I/Q networks for the vector modulators and I/Q mixers, and IF bandwidth response. The work is applicable to wideband software defined radios with interference rejection.
