Reliability Testing of Advanced Microwave and mm-Wave Components for Space

The reliability testing/space qualification of the critical components is of utmost importance for flight instruments. Especially, the reliability testing of new MMIC technologies already in pre-development phase of future missions has become mandatory for finding out any problem areas early enough. A typical reliability test program for microwave and mm-wave modules is presented with examples from recently launched MetOp-SG mission.
