Digital Light Processing Technologies for Manufacturing of High-Performance Microwave Components

The talk provides an overview of recent developments in digital laser-based technologies for microwave and mm-wave circuit realization. Micromachining technologies such as digital laser exposure or PCB processing, as well as high-detail digital light projection stereolithography of polymers and digital laser melting of metals, will be discussed. Exemplary components such as sensors, filters, inter-guide transitions, and antenna feeding networks are showcased from the design to experimental results implemented in planar microfabricated metal-on-insulator, laminate, as well as 3D additive technologies.
