Dual-Pol. Reflectarrays at 3–6GHz and 13–15GHz for 6G Applications with Wide Scan Angles and Ultra-Low Loss

This work details the development of very low loss dual-polarized reflectarrays based on RFSOI switches and low-loss antennas. Two designs will be presented: one at 3–6GHz with true-time-delay units on each antenna element, and one at 13–15GHz with very short and ultra-low-loss phase shifters. Both are capable of ±60° reflectarray scan in all planes and both exhibit very low loss and ultra-low distortion (EVM of <1.5% for 64QAM waveforms). These arrays will be essential for 6G systems at sub-6GHz and in the FR3 region.
