Pixelated Antenna Design Optimization Using Binary Coded Genetic Algorithm for 5G/6G Applications
5G/6G networks become the backbone for big data transfer and offer significant increase in performance and efficiency. Consequently, the use of smaller, compact and miniaturized multi-band antennas and antenna arrays with antenna in package or on-chip technologies along with the integrated electronics circuitry can provide the necessary infrastructure required for reliable and optimized communication channels. The session will demonstrate the use of Binary Coded Genetic Algorithm (BCGA) in optimizing the design process of multi-band fragmented pixelated patch antenna array. The workflow is validated using full-wave EM simulation technology and automated to be used for various operating frequency bands.
