The International MTT Symposia (IMS) is the most prestigious conference in the field of RF and microwave engineering. Each year, this event attracts thousands of people from all over the world. Although the prestige of IMS is based on a consistently excellent technical program and many networking opportunities, the overall success of each conference is due to the combined effort of many volunteers. We look forward to your help!
Eligibility requirements:
To be eligible as a student ambassador, you must:
- Be enrolled as a full‐time or part‐time undergraduate or graduate student
- Be friendly, cordial, punctual, and willing to serve
- Complete the volunteer application by clicking here
- Attend one of three ambassador training sessions (dates/times listed below)
- Work a minimum of two full days

- Complimentary registration (includes IEEE MTT-S RF Integrated Circuits (RFIC) Symposium, IEEE MTT-S RF Technology & Techniques (RFTT) Symposium and the IEEE MTT-S RF Systems & Applications (RFSA) Symposium (details will be sent to volunteers by email)

- Food and beverages will be provided during hours of volunteer service including breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Invitation to the Student Awards Luncheon on Thursday
- Explore exhibits and the opportunity to interact with people from around the world
- Transportation and lodging are NOT included
Overview of Duties:
Student ambassadors will be asked to:
- Provide assistance for technical workshops, forums, panels, competitions, or interactive sessions
- Assist with check‐in to technical lectures, workshops, technical sessions and social events
- Greet and help conference attendees
