What made you want to work in this industry?

Growing up on a farm in a small town in Venezuela instilled in me a deep appreciation for resourcefulness, problem-solving, and the transformative power of technology. Life on the farm required constant innovation and adaptability, as we relied on practical solutions to overcome challenges with limited resources. These early experiences sparked my fascination with engineering and the idea of creating tools that could improve lives and drive progress. Over time, this curiosity evolved into a passion for wireless communication technologies, which I saw as a way to connect people and bridge gaps in access to information and resources. My journey from the farm to the field of semiconductors is a testament to the influence of those formative years, where I learned that even in the most challenging environments, ingenuity and hard work could pave the way for meaningful advancements.   

What is your favorite part of your job?

As the CEO of Falcomm, my favorite part of the job is tackling real-life problems and transforming challenges into opportunities for innovation. Every day presents a new puzzle, whether it’s optimizing power amplifier designs, navigating industry dynamics, or identifying market needs. I thrive on the process of breaking down complex issues and crafting practical, impactful solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in wireless communication. This problem-solving mindset not only drives technological advancements but also inspires the team at Falcomm to stay at the forefront of innovation. Knowing that our work has the potential to shape the future of connectivity and make a tangible difference in the world is what makes this role deeply rewarding.

What are you most excited about for IMS2025?

Attending IMS is always a highlight for me as it offers the perfect platform to connect with industry leaders and showcase Falcomm's progress. The symposium provides a unique opportunity to engage with the brightest minds in RF and microwave technology, exchange ideas, and stay at the forefront of industry trends. Sharing Falcomm's innovations, such as our cutting-edge power amplifiers and advancements in ultra-efficient semiconductor technologies, is incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about presenting our work; it’s about fostering collaborations, gaining valuable insights, and being inspired by the collective vision of advancing wireless communication technologies.
